Job van Kuppeveld (2003) is a composer for film and theatre music, based in the Netherlands. He took piano lessons from the age of 10. Being inspired by the music of How to Train your Dragon, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Disney and many more, Job started teaching himself how to write film music, orchestrate and produce.
After studying Physics at university for two years, Job decided to apply to the bachelor Composition for Film and Theatre (CFT), at the conservatory ArtEZ in 2023. His passion for writing music had only increased over time, and he realized this when writing the music for the original musical ‘Alles voor de Show’, and finally dared to follow his heart.
Job co-founded his own musical theatre group ENCORE, for which he writes and rehearses his own original music.
Job would love to become a composer and musical director in the theatre field one day, since he fell in love with theatre mostly because of the multidisciplinary environment. Although the road ahead may be long and many things might change, he is determined to gain experience over the years in projects and dive deeper in the wonderous world of storytelling in music.
